Sean Lembree, President & Chief Executive Officer
Sean joined SOS in May 2003 to build the sales organization and expand the client base in the equity compensation marketplace. He has played an integral role in SOS's significant growth over the years and has helped SOS to streamline its operations and market approach as well as establish core goals/strategies. He has more than 12 years of sales and marketing experience in the software and services industry. Before SOS, Sean was a Regional Director for Transcentive, Inc., a provider of stock plan software and services. Prior to Transcentive, Sean held management positions in sales at Loislaw.com, Inc. and Tab, Inc. where some of his responsibilities included managing sale forces of over 20 people and developing business into new marketplaces (geographic and verticles). Sean earned a B.S. in Business Administration & Marketing from Villanova University, Villanova, PA.
Steve Gaylord, Chief Technology Officer
Steve is currently responsible for SOS's Technology solutions offerings to help clients leverage technology to streamline the stock plan management and administration process. He has more than 16 years experience in the software and services industry, with responsibilities ranging from support, development, maintenance, and training of multiple software packages including financial services, accounting, and customer relationship management. Steve has a B.S. in Computer Science and a Masters in Business Administration from Santa Clara University.
Elizabeth Dodge, CEP, Vice President
Elizabeth is the Vice President of Product Management for Stock & Option Solutions, Inc. (SOS). Her responsibilities include monitoring new developments in the equity compensation arena, performing market research, speaking at industry events, helping to define the product roadmap for SOS, and helping clients solve their equity compensation challenges. She has been designing and product managing financial software for the past 16 years, 12 of those for equity compensation applications. Prior to product management, her software experience was in designing, testing, and supporting financial software applications. She regularly speaks on industry trends and product development at client and industry events including NASPP webcasts, GEO and NASPP Chapter meetings, User Groups, and the NASPP Annual Conference. She was also selected to speak at the West Coast FASB Roundtable on FAS 123(R) and has recently co-authored the chapter on accounting for equity compensation in The Stock Options Book, 11th edition, by Alisa Baker. She became a Certified Equity Professional in 1999 and continues to volunteer for the Certified Equity Professional Institute. She also volunteers for the Silicon Valley Chapter of the NASPP and serves on the board of the NCEO.
The SOS Founders
Henley Hom, CEP, Principal
Henley joined SOS in June 1999 as Vice President and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2001 where he is responsible for the overall financial status of the company. During his eight years in stock administration, Henley has managed many projects such as software development, design and management of interactive websites, stock splits, data conversions, option exchange programs, customized reporting, software implementations, spin-offs, and broker implementations. Prior to entering the stock administration field, Henley worked as an accountant. He received his B.S. in Accounting and Finance at San Jose State University and is a Certified Equity Professional. He is currently a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and works closely with the Certified Equity Professional Institute's certification program.
Barrett Scott, Principal
Prior to founding SOS, Barrett was an independent consultant in the stock administration field for two years and a Client Group Manager at AST StockPlan for four years. His experience with a wide range of equity benefit plans has given him the insight to develop cutting edge benefit administration programs, which SOS uses as proprietary solutions for our clients' stock administration needs. Barrett continues to provide valuable knowledge of financial, tax, and legal requirements of equity compensation programs to SOS clients and their employees on a regular basis. He has been integral in developing SOS' key relationships with industry brokers, software providers, law firms, transfer agents, Big 4 accounting companies, investment bankers, and other consulting firms. Barrett is a member of major national equity compensation organizations, holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Drama from the University of Washington.
Marianne Snook, CEP, Principal
Marianne's key responsibility is to set the overall strategy for the effective growth of SOS. She has accomplished this through guaranteeing customer service, strong external relationships, and continuous employee involvement and education. With experience in human resources, payroll, and stock administration, Marianne offers a unique background that has given her the tools to implement creative solutions for SOS clients. In her almost 20 years as a stock administrator, she has held positions as a director of a major outsourcing provider, an independent consultant, and an internal stock administrator. These experiences allow her to view all the advantages and disadvantages of various stock administration solutions. Marianne speaks on both a local and national level on various facets of stock program administration. A Certified Equity Professional involved in the standards-setting process, she is also an active member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and the National Center of Employee Ownership.
